Bubble Walls – How Is the Magical Illusion Created?

Bubble walls are used extensively for interior decoration. They are very unique water features that add a kind of otherworldly feel to the space. Essentially, bubble walls consist of enclosures that trap water. So, unlike fountains, water walls and waterfalls, you cannot touch water in a bubble wall. The basic enclosure is made out of transparent materials such as glass or sturdy plastics. Fiberglass is a preferred material because of its durability, unbreakable nature and strength. Acrylic is also preferred because it is crack resistant. This enclosure can be created for the entire length or for a limited space in the wall. The enclosure consists of hollow glass channels that form a route for the bubbles to travel. Water is filled in these channels. At the bottom of the channels, an air pump is fixed. This air pump forces air into the water filled channels which creates bubbles that flow throughout the length of the pipes. Bubble panels can be created in different ways. For example, you can customize a spiral channel and allow bubbles to swirl through it in a beautiful pattern. Designers come up with a lot of creative panels for different spaces. Bubble walls can be beautified by using colored LED lights. You can also light up each channel differently to create a dazzling effect.
