Water walls can enhance the visual beauty of your space by several notches and bring a lot of positivity in the room. If you are thinking of installing a unit in your office or home, you are probably wondering about its various components and whether they can all be accommodated in your space. Here is an outline of the main components of water walls. Reservoir is the heart of the water wall. You can choose the reservoir container based on volume of the water required for the wall. The size and shape can be customized based on the availability of space. The reservoir is located at the bottom of the wall. Another obvious component of a water wall is the pump. The pump set lifts water from the reservoir to the top of the wall. Submersible pumps are the most suitable for water walls since they can be hidden inside the reservoir. The third main component is the surface along which the water wall flows. The wall comprises of the main surface, riser tube, valence and side supports. Different materials are used to build the fall surface. You can use granite, marble or a corrosion resistant metal. If you want a very natural look, install a glass surface. The fourth component is the water release head. It is installed on top of the wall and forms the channel into which water flows in from the reservoir and is released to flow down the wall surface.
